port to mipsel-linux

Hello all

I need to create gcj for target=mipsel-linux.  The gcj configure told me 
that libffi does not support mipsel-linux, a fact easily confirmed on your 
website.  Are there any plans for a port?  Can anyone tell me what is 
involved in porting libffi to a new platform?
