s390x support

Hi,
 Last year I ported libffi-1.20 to s390. I now have the diffs 
ready for s390x support (64-bit). These fixes apply to Makefile.am 
and configure.in. What do I need to run and with what parameters 
to generate correct Makefile.in and configure files? Using aclocal, 
autoconf, and automake "almost" works but the resulting Makefile.in 
has "ffitest_OBJECTS = " (i.e. a null variable) which means the build 
of ffitest.o doesn't occur. 

 The source archive I'm using is from the Mandrake SRPM of libffi-20010609
which may not be either standard or even correct. 

 Where should I grab the latest source tarball from (the one pointed 
to on the website is dated 1998)? Where do I find out about what the 
closure routines need to do?
