Arabic numerals will be a big pain in the ass, IMHO it's better to stick with
roman one if it is desired to be 1000 % correct. Examples:
- firewall module for kadu
- unmaintained (but still used) software
- new software which might hard-code the endianess of the date.

I am about to exit this stupid flamewar.Let me summarise what I have seen here:
some kind of language purist pushed the bug 3156 change, which seems to be
irritating to most of the users due to being less readable. JuSt LiKe ThIs KiNd
oF wRiTiNg. Looks that despite being not entirely correct, yet acceptable, the
older variant was working well for most of the folks out there.
What is being proposed here (the arabic numerals) is only going to lead to more
mess, because nobody will *ever* be able to fix the hard-coded endianess issues
in every single program. It is like fighting the windmills.
