Connection reset during checkout using build-many-glibcs.py

Hi,

I'm trying to update sources used by the build-many-glibcs.py script,
and I always get the "Connection reset by peer" error halfway through
the process. I can checkout sources directly using git command and the
URLs from this script, so this is not some sort of problem on my end.

The script is doing some other steps in addition to checkout, and it's
not obvious how to repeat the same steps manually to work-around the
network limitations.

I suppose this is due to rate-limiting requests to sourceware-hosted
repositories? It would be nice to have some kind of work-around.
