this is a glibc mailing list.  we can't really speak about the eglibc build 
system.  you should try asking on an eglibc mailing list.

also, you might want to look at using crosstool to create a cross-compiler 
instead of doing it yourself.  it takes care of many newbie mistakes as well 
fixing common cross-compiling bugs.
