i dont think ive yet see a bug report with this crash message where the 
problem was in glibc.  the colortail program most likely is corrupting memory 
and this backtrace is telling you where it first detected a problem.  build 
things with more debugging symbols and run it through gdb to find out.  you 
most likely wont find people here willing to debug problems in $random-
applications.  and in cases like this, the burden of proof [of bug in glibc] 
is on the person reporting the problem.  g'luck.
