What part of `all DTV_AT_TP ports are broken, and could also reduce
static TLS wastage' don't you understand?
The machine-specific portion of this change is just a few lines, that
other ports could and should take advantage of. Keeping them hidden
elsewhere will do nobody any good.

How painful can it be to watch someone else improve on a poor design
of yours and regret not having thought of it?
It's almost funny to watch you promoting new and better ways to do
things when you come up with them, and then classify as moronic the
better ways to do things that you didn't think of. You should be
ashamed.
