more math stuff

I've just finished checking in the IBM math library code.  But be
aware: I haven't tested the code in glibc itself yet!  None of the
machines I have at home and which compile with reasonable speed use
any of these functions.  I'll test on Alpha soon but I had to check
the code in to do this.  I'll be gone soon for a few hours but will
try to start looking at this once I'm back.

So, best is to avoid updating in the moment.
