The main requirement will be backward compatibility. If you say
that's met the biggest hurdle is taken. But I'm also aware of the
quality of code coming from Sun. It took us years to make SunRPC
somewhat stable. IPv6 is important, though. I guess we'll have to
see what you can come up with.
