Exactly these are the kind of problems - binary incompatible changes
against an @@GLIBC_2.2 symbol or the removal of such a symbol (see my
patch for getipnodebyaddr).

As glibc developers we strike for binary compatibility between
released versions of glibc - but not between alpha releases like
2.1.91 and final releases like 2.2.
