no connection last night

In case somebody wonders, in celebration of the big power outage
around here in February 1998 some construction workers working outside
our doors (btw, on behalf of Infoseek) cut a few power lines which
laid several blocks in complete darkness.  It took our sysadmins
quite some time after the power was restored to get everything up
again.  If you find something not working propserly drop me a note.
