O_NOFOLLOW

Does O_NOFOLLOW mean to not follow symlinks, and instead open the node for
the symlink itself?  The Hurd has had O_NOLINK to mean that for years.  I
wish Linux hackers could be bothered to look three feet for an existing
name to be compatible with.
