glibc 2.0.98

I've uploaded to

	ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu

the next test release for glibc.2.1, named 2.0.98.  Diffs are
available as well.

We've fixed several smaller problems and cleaned up headers and
makefiles a bit.

Give it a try and please analyse compatibility problems with programs
compiled with and for glibc-2.0.  Without analysis we can never be
sure nothing breaks.
