Build problems on alpha (glibc 2.1 nearly current)

I've made a cvs update at 7:00 am CEST and tried to build the glibc on
a alpha.  I didn't manage to build glibc since socket.S exists in
sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/i386 - but not in linux/alpha.

The error messages were:
../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/__sendmsg.S:5: socket.S: No such file or directory
../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/__recvmsg.S:5: socket.S: No such file or directory
