Regarding CLDR, yes, I have been working there :). Hunsrik has already
been accepted into the Survey Tool and is expected to be out in v50 with
Basic coverage.

Regarding the language name: "Hunsrickisch" is the native
self-designation used by speakers of the language in Brazil, without the
umlaut. "Hunsrückisch" refers to the German dialect in Germany. In
English, it would be "Hunsrik".
