We kicked this around a bit at the gcc patchwork meeting.  WIthin that 
group (included Peter B, Robin and myself) we agreed this can be 
reasonably deferred.  Seems like it's just landing fairly late in the 
cycle with some concerns...   So, yea, let's figure this out after the 
release.
