Hi Mark,

I'm currently going through the failing test cases on alpha-linux and
have run into the same issue.

I reproduced the failure on alpha-linux, where the affected clocks have
a resolution of 976563 ns. Your patch fixes the test for me.

I hope the patch can still be picked up. For what it is worth:
