Thanks for thinking at gnulib. But this file is not shared with gnulib nor
with any other GNU package [1]; therefore I have nothing to say about this
proposed patch.

Gnulib has a header <stdcountof.h> (based on recent ISO C drafts [2]), that
defines a 'countof' macro, equivalent to 'array_length' macro. It's not
planned to add other array-related macros to this file, though.
