[PATCH 1/3] support: Implement 'xfmemopen' for seamless 'fmemopen' use

Add 'xfmemopen' wrapper for seamless 'fmemopen' use in tests, following 
'xfopen', 'xfclose', etc., and providing a standardized error reporting 
facility.
