This is not accurate.  The debian distribution for hppa is built for
PA 1.1 and my test report for 2.40 was generated using using gcc
configured to generate PA 1.1 code.

I do occassionally build glibc with -march=2.0 option and at this time
I don't see any difference in test results except for a number of ULP
issues.  A patch was committed today to fix these issues on master.
