Thanks for doing this. The patch looks fine, it's moving up 5 releases after 6 years
which seem reasonable. It was suggested why not GCC 11.5 during the meeting -
I had a quick check and it seems various distros use slightly older versions (mine
uses 11.4 but started with 11.2 originally). So unless there is a good reason to go
for the latest GCC 11 release, I think keeping it at 11.1/11.2 would be better.

However it would be good to hear if someone thinks GCC11 is too new.
