The FSF's input into this conversation is very important, and some of the
comments here and in the other larger thread show some common misconceptions
about what CTI is trying to achieve and how we are trying to achieve it.

I'll also ask the GNU Toolchain leadership, and maintainers to engage more
actively in the conversation.

I think that between the FSF, Sourceware, and CTI we have a lot of common goals
and we should re-engage on overseers@sourceware.org, per Mark's suggestion,
to see how we can support these common goals.

What this means is that CTI has more consensus work to do with the developers
on the various threads.

I'll take this back to the TAC, and note that we need to improve how we
communicate about CTI, and answer more questions from developers in the FAQ.

I've reviewed the whole thread and gathered up all the open questions and I'll
try to answer them on the glibc wiki itself in more detail and iterate again
with people like Alexandre Oliva, Paul Eggert, Zack Weinberg, Andrew Pinksi,
Alfred Szmidt, Mark Wielaard, and Sam James to make sure I've answered all of
their points. I'll keep these discussions on libc-alpha to support the developer
involvement.

I am happy to work with Sourceware, overall the projects have slightly
different goals, but it would be good to discuss that and how we can
engage together to support the GNU Toolchain.

I'm going to find a delegate from the CTI TAC to attend Sourceware PLC
meetings to see how we can better collaborate.

Mark, How and when does the Sourceware PLC meet? Is it during the
Sourceware Office Hours or during another meeting?

Likewise I'll start engaging on overseers@sourceware.org at Mark's
suggestion since that list has a lot of people who have questions and
concerns about parts of the strategy. Though I will also continue here
on libc-alpha.
