Why did one of Wilco's patches land into an untitled series?

It looks like Wilco's MUA did not insert any quoted line prefix
and this results in what looks like a complete new patch? Is that
correct?

I haven't seen this before with your replies. Do you normally use
a quoted line prefix for replies?
