[2.31] 6 weeks to go

Hello folks,

We have little over 6 weeks to go before freezing for 2.31.  In reality
there's even less time given that many of us disappear for Christmas
holidays and reviews are hard to get during that week, hence the early
heads-up.

If you're working on something that you've promised will make into 2.31,
now is the time to start posting those patches so that you get enough
review cycles to get your stuff in.  You can do that by adding your
patchset to the desirable[1] list for 2.31 or if it's critical for the
release, add it to the blocker list.
