However it's failing on AArch64 now:

ar: /home/wdijkstr/build/glibc/string/rtld-mempcpy.os: No such file or directory
make[3]: *** [/home/wdijkstr/build/glibc/elf/rtld-libc.a] Error 1

It appears the mempcpy optimization has gone - this was used by all
except 3 targets.
