Are there any actual users requesting this?
Same for it_VA and it_SM.
For translation, these locales are not needed because the languages "en"
and "it" are already available in other locales.
So what does this really achieve? Some minor things like âcountry_nameâ,
... but does this really justify adding more locales if nobody really
asked for it?
There are around 195 or 196 countries on earth at the moment.
Currently we have 140 in glibc locales. Do we really want to add
more then 50 new locales without anybody really asking for it?
Locales also take up space ...
