Yes I understand the convenience this will cause, and for that I
profusely apologize. I am taking a fair amount of abuse as a result
(from all sides, and most of which you have not seen), and that is fair
as well.
Yes I understand that this is the last chance to make this change,
period.
But I am also responsible for that long term stability and viability of
this new ecosystem. I am responsible for insuring the widest possible
acceptance and support so users (end customers and application
developers) will find this to be an attractive platform.
That is what I have to weigh in the balance,
