Yes absolutely. Two related questions have been submitted to the working 
group (I should have sent some feedback earlier):

- 0000671: aio_fsync() EBADF and "open for writing"

- 0000672: Necessary step(s) to synchronize filename operations on disk

The second one is the result if a discussion on the mailing-list (see
