Thanks for your submission! Unfortunately we're in the 
middle of a code freeze for the 2.16 release, and as the
release manager I'd rather not make any changes that don't 
immediately fix bugs.

Could you please file a bug in bugzilla with your patch
and mark it target milestone 2.17, we'll apply it once we
get out of the code freeze.
