We are stabilizing trunk for a 2.16 release.

Please remember there is a code freeze in effect.

Please do not checkin new features.

Please use your best judgement for bug fixes; they should be small and contained.

Machine maintainers should be:

- Making sure your port is working.

- Updating ABI baselines (no ABI changes allowed during the freeze)

- Regenerating any files that need regeneration.

- Updating http://sourceware.org/glibc/wiki/Release/2.16 with your status.

Did I miss anything?
