I haven't been following this thread, but the biggest problem I have
right now is that I have yet to see a clear problem description, followed
by the solution, followed by an argument for why the solution is the best
way forward.

Could you write up something that falls clearly within the realm of
"self-contained summary of problem, solution, and rationale."

As a reviewer this would help immensely.
