Enable check-abi by default

What about:

do not run the check-abi testsuite as part of "make check" (no/warn/yes)

Or just:
	      AC_HELP_STRING([--enable-check-abi],
			     [do "make check-abi" in "make check" (yes/warn/no)
			      @<:@default=yes@:>@]),
