Andreas, I see you pushed a patch for this to git. Please remember to 
follow the guidelines  we discussed here which include (see 
http://sourceware.org/glibc/wiki/Consensus):
"Post the patch and ChangeLog to libc-alpha with a short message and then 
push the commit."
