[PING] S/390: HW accelerated iconv module for iso-8859-1/cp37 conversions

Hi Ulrich,

given the limitations of the S/390 hardware conversion instructions
described in my last emails - do you think the EBCDIC/ISO-8859-1
module is ok as is?

I've started working on a set of unicode conversion modules for S/390
and would very much appreciate to hear your opinion about the first
one before continuing.
