Translation of the abbreviations

The French Translation Project thinks the French translations of the
months are incorrect in the glibc:
http://sourceware.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/libc/localedata/locales/fr_FR?cvsroot=glibc

We aren't sure about the length to use, only 3 characters are
currently being used (other languages use 2, 3 or 4). Does it exist a
length limit?
