You need to change the manual source, not the output.  If you are not
familiar with Texinfo please read up on it first.  You need to test
formatting the manual yourself before submitting changes.  Send patches for
the .texi files in manual/ as appropriate.  Do not use attachments, just
include the patch in your message.  Prepend the ChangeLog entries before
the patch in your message.  Look for existing log entries for manual/ files
to see the format and level of detail necessary.

Have you filed a copyright assignment with the FSF?
