outcome request for posix_spawn

Hi all,

I would like to know of any follow up information available relating to 
posix_spawn() and the outcome of bug fix 378. The bug is lodged as 
RESOLVED-FIXED however despite searching mail lists, docs etc. I cannot 
find evidence of how it was fixed other than the cvs addition of the 
POSIX_SPAWN_USEFORK flag. What I need to know is whether the new vfork 
based posix_spawn() is now thread-safe in Linux like the Solaris10 
equivalent is?
