This is perhaps an odd question, but I'm curious as to chapter / verse 
in http://www.gnu.org/prep/standards/standards.html that directs one to 
use indentation in cases such as this. Perhaps I've mistakenly been 
boning up on the gnu coding standards when I should have been looking else 
where. Section 3.5 Conditional Compilation for instance shows no 
indentation.
