After recompiling binutils/gcc/glibc with _POSIX2_VERSION=199202 Bind 9.2.3
now passes all thread tests!

Bind now runs with thread support.

Thanks,
Shawn.

Fair enough, but I've been compiling glibc for many years without issue, I
know NPTL is new and or BIND 9.2.3 doesn't properly use the new threading
properly. I can't say.

I continue to debug...

Shawn.

Never send any binaries. No sane person would consider running a binary
created by a stranger. Debug your problem yourself, it is most definitely
of your own creation. Compiling glibc is not easy which is why nobody
should do it except those creating distributions.
