That doesn't mean we can't also use more portable alternatives in GCC (as
in <http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-bugs/2002-02/msg00516.html>), though the bug
in coreutils should be fixed as well.

I noticed

and hope that coreutils isn't now going to disallow "rm -rf" as well.
