Grouped fixup on the todo list

Hi,

On the glibc 2.3 todo list
(http://people.redhat.com/drepper/todo-2.3.html) there is no entry for
implementing Solaris style grouped symbol fixup, which is useful for a
variety of purposes. Are there any plans to do this, or is it a feature
that will have to be written by external contributors?

Also, reference is made to "filter DSOs", but no explanation of what they
are is provided, and Google is for once silent on the matter. Does anybody
know of where I can learn more about these?
