[PATCH] New getifaddrs implementation

Thorsten Kukuk kukuk@suse.de
Fri Mar 28 18:16:00 GMT 2003

Hi,

here is the next try of a IPv6 ready getifaddrs() implementation.
I make only one calloc for the whole struct given back to the caller,
but it is impossible to replace the internal used mallocs with alloca.
I have a version using alloca, but on most of my machines it will
overwrite the stack because I get too much data from the kernel.

And I will fallback to Rolands implementation, if netlink support
is missing from running kernel.
