We are interested in having these features, but the work is substantial and subtle and they must be done right. Noone has a schedule or plan for working on this AFAIK. It's not a question of "trusting" someone to do it right; whoever works on it, the work will have to be carefully reviewed by everyone who knows the rtld code well.
