problems with 2.3.1pre[12]?

Ulrich,
   Current glibc cvs (2.3.1pre2) builds fine and passes make check
on a RedHat 8.0 based ppclinux box running Linux 2.4.20pre5 and on
my debian ppc sid box running Linux 2.4.20pre9. Both builds are
using binutils 2.13.90.0.10 and recent gcc 3.2.1 pre-releases.
