I compiled  glibc-2.3.1pre2.tar.bz2,glibc-2.3.1pre1-2.3.1pre2.diff.bz2
from ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/glibc/snapshots/

Make,make check is fine for me.

My system is
gcc-3.2.1,binutils-2.13.90cvs,kernel-headers-2.4.20pre7
on Gnu/Linux powerpc32.
