More on prelinking

Hi,

can anyone tell me what goes wrong with my
prelink.
Trying to prelink any KDE binary I get the
following:

502 % prelink /usr/local/kde3/bin/knode
prelink: /usr/local/kde3/bin/knode: Cannot prelink against non-PIC shared 
library /usr/local/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so.3
503 %

prelinking the qt library separately works, but then
prelinking knode will abort, like this:

503 % prelink /usr/local/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so.3
504 % prelink /usr/local/kde3/bin/knode
prelink: /usr/local/kde3/bin/knode: Cannot prelink against non-PIC shared 
library /usr/local/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so.3
505 %

Very strange....

gcc = gcc-3.2
binutils 2.13
prelink 1.0
