Are there patches for gcc-2.2.5 src that I can download to fix this?
I've seen postings for the past couple of months that GLIBC_x has now
become private symbols, and apparently, that's what the RedHat
gxx-2.2.5-34 binary rpm has done, but I'm stuck with an older RedHat 6.x
system with the standard gcc-2.2.5 release that does not have these
"private" symbols that I'd updated to.
I'm hoping you can help me started in the right direction rather than
going straight to binary glibc rpm.... which would not help because all my
binaries now rely on the the compiled glibc-2.2.5 which has global GLIBC_x
symbols. That would means rpm'ing the whole system!
Thanks,
Jeff
