tst-gettext failure on stable branch (was Re: Testing with gcc-3.1.1)

Moving right along to the future..

I'm now testing the glibc stable cvs branch. Builds fine but I'm seeing
a new test failure   intl/tst-gettext

This is the same with gcc-3.1 or gcc-3.1.1

tst-gettext.out is 416K and contains a large amount of errors. First 10
lines attached.

Any ideas?
