AF_INET6 lookups breaks AF_INET lookups

I have no problems to reproduce it with a RHL8 installation:

Using gethostbyname2 (www.lufthansa.com, AF_INET): 53.122.207.1    www.lufthansa.com
Using gethostbyname2 (www.lufthansa.com, AF_INET6): www.lufthansa.com not found
Using gethostbyname2 (www.lufthansa.com, AF_INET): www.lufthansa.com not found
# cat /etc/redhat-release 
Red Hat Linux release 8.0 (Psyche)

But it is only with www.lufthansa.com reproduceable. I know that
other people have similar problems with other hosts, but I don't have
access to that emails currently to tell the other hostnames.

It works fine if I switch back to glibc 2.2.5. I tried different
nameservers and different providers, always reproduceable: 2.3
fails, 2.2.5 works.
