This has runtime impact and just for the benefit of some corner case.
It perfectly reasonable to expect that the user can determine the
SONAME.

> sprof: failed to load shared object `dynfunc.so': No such file or directory

Again, no problem.  If you don't know exactly which DSO you are
profiling you do something wrong.
